【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardcoversthechemicalanalysisofsiliconcarbidebasedabrasivegrainsandcrudes.ItisapplicableforthedeterminationofthesurfaceimpuritiesofabrasivesgrainsanddeterminingtheSiCcontentofcrushedcrudewhenthesiliconcarbidecontentisgreaterthan95%(m/m).Whenthegrainsizeofthesiliconcarbideisgreaterthanorequalto15μm,thedeterminationofthelossonacidtreatmentiscarriedoutaccordingtothemethodgivenin3.5andtheresidualSiCcontent(SiCR)accordingtothemethodgivenin3.7.Whenthegrainsizeofthesiliconcarbideissmallerthan15μm,thedeterminationoftheSiCcontentshallbecarriedoutbythemethodsdescribedin4.3and4.4.2.1or4.4.2.3and4.5becausethemethodsgivenin4.2and3.7inevitablygivefalseresultsduetooxidation.Whenthesurfacecarboncontent[w(Csurf)]isgreaterthan2%(m/m),acoulometricdeterminationaccordingtothemethoddescribedin3.4.2.3willgivecorrectresults.Thegravimetricmethoddescribedin3.4.2.1isonlyapplicabletosurfacecarboncontentswhicharegreaterthan2%(m/m),ifignitioniscontinuedtoaconstantweightoraweightincrease.Thecoulometricmethoddescribedin3.4.2.2cannotbeappliedincaseswherew(Csurf)ismorethan2%.
