【摘要】:Theimpactsoundratingforafloorassemblyisdeterminedbothbythebasicfloorassemblyandthefloorcoveringontheuppersurface.Thesamefloorcoveringincombinationwithdifferentbasicfloorassemblieswillnotalwaysgivethesameimpactinsulationclass(IIC)ratings.Thistestmethodisdesignedtoprovidedatathatcharacterizethefloorcoveringalonewheninstalledoverconcreteslabfloors.Thex0394;IICratingcalculatedin13.4isusedtocomparetheeffectivenessofdifferentfloorcoveringsonconcretefloors.Theimpactinsulationclass(IIC)calculatedforthereferenceconcretefloorwithacoveringprovidesanindicationoftheimpactsoundinsulationthatthecoveringwillprovidewithtypical,monolithicconcretefloors.Whenthenormalizedimpactsoundpressurelevelsbelowabareconcreteslabareknown,thedifferencespectrumcalculatedin13.1maybeusedtoestimatetheimpactsoundpressurelevelsandhencetheIICthatwouldresultifthecoveringwereinstalledontheslab.Warning:Differencespectrameasuredusingthismethodshallnotbeusedtoestimateimpactsoundpressurelevelsforfloorscomprisingonlyoneortwolightweightfloorlayerssuchasorientedstrandboardorplywood.Suchestimatedimpactsoundpressurelevelswouldbeveryinaccurate.Note18212;Thedifferencespectrumcalculatedin13.1givesunreliableestimatesofthereductioninimpactsoundpressurelevelsduetothefloorcoveringwhenitisplacedonajoistfloorincorporatingaconcretetopping(about50mmthick)poureddirectlyontheplywoodsubfloororsteeldeck.Theestimatedimpactsoundpressurelevelsaretoolow.ThistestmethodcloselyfollowsthatdescribedinISO140-8exceptthatthesinglenumberratingusedistheimpactinsulationclass(IIC)describedinClassificationE989.Thedescriptionofthestandardconcreteflooralsodiffers.Note28212;TherequirementinClassificationE989thatnodeviationabovethereferencecontourmayexceed8dBmeansthatthereisnosimplerelationshipbetweenISO140-8testratingsandthosegeneratedbythismethod.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesamethodforthelaboratorymeasurementoftheeffectivenessoffloorcoveringsinreducingimpactnoisefromastandardtappingmachinethroughconcretefloors.Thetestresultsarenotnecessarilydirectlyrelatedtothesubjectiveevaluationsofthefloorcoverings.1.2Thistestmethodappliestoallfloorcoverings,whethersingleormulti-layered,asinstalledonastandardconcretefloor.Multi-layeredcoveringsmaybefactory-assembledorassembledatthetestlaboratory.1.3Thetestmethodappliesonlytolaboratorymeasurements.Itdoesnotapplytothemeasurementoftheeffectivenessofafloorcoveringinafieldsituation.1.4LaboratoryAccreditation8212;AprocedureforaccreditingalaboratoryforperformingthistestmethodisgiveninMethodE492.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
