【摘要】:Highvaluesmayindicatecontaminationofthesiliconewithothermaterials,inadequateremovalofvolatilecomponentsbytheproducer,orthepresenceofadepolymerizationcatalyst.Theoutcomewillbeaffecteddirectlybythepresenceofanyhighvaporpressurematerialinthesample,suchassolventsorlowmolecularweightsilicones.Ahighvolatilecontentcouldalsoindicatethepresenceofadepolymerizationcatalystinthefluid.Thetimeandtemperaturespecifiedinthistestmethodareidealfordetectingtheeffectofsuchamaterial,asthedepolymerizationtakesplaceatahighlyacceleratedrateandthelowmolecularweightcomponentsarerapidlyevaporated.Theresultisaverysignificantweightlossduringthetestperiod.Theexactamountdependsonthetypeandamountofcatalystpresent.Theconditionsspecifiedinthemethodshouldnotcausemeasureabledepolymerizationofsiliconeifsuchacatalystisnotpresent.1.1Thistestmethoddescribesaprocedurefordeterminingthevolatilematterinsiliconefluidsusedforelectricalinsulation.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityofwhoeverusesthisstandardtoconsultandestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
