【摘要】:Thepurposeofthisguideistoprovidegeneralguidelinesforthedesignandoperationofhotcellequipmenttoensurelongevityandreliabilitythroughouttheperiodofservice.Itisintendedthatthisguiderecordthegeneralconditionsandpracticesthatexperiencehasshownisnecessarytominimizeequipmentfailuresandmaximizetheeffectivenessandutilityofhotcellequipment.Itisalsointendedtoalertdesignerstothosefeaturesthatarehighlydesirablefortheselectionofequipmentthathasprovenreliableinhighradiationenvironments.Thisguideisintendedasasupplementtootherstandards,andtofederalandstateregulations,codes,andcriteriaapplicabletothedesignofequipmentintendedforhotcelluse.Thisguideisintendedtobegenericandtoapplytoawiderangeoftypesandconfigurationsofhotcellequipment.Intent:1.1.1Theintentofthisguideistoprovidegeneraldesignandoperatingconsiderationsforthesafeanddependableoperationofremotelyoperatedhotcellequipment.Hotcellequipmentishardwareusedtohandle,process,oranalyzenuclearorradioactivematerialinashieldedroom.Theequipmentisplacedbehindradiationshieldwallsandcannotbedirectlyaccessedbytheoperatorsorbymaintenancepersonnelbecauseoftheradiationexposurehazards.Therefore,theequipmentisoperatedremotely,eitherwithorwithouttheaidofviewing.1.1.2Thisguidemayapplytoequipmentinotherradioactiveremotelyoperatedfacilitiessuchassuitedentryrepairareas,canyonsorcaves,butdoesnotapplytoequipmentusedincommercialpowerreactors.1.1.3Thisguidedoesnotapplytoequipmentusedingloveboxes.1.2Caveats:1.2.1Thisguidedoesnotaddressconsiderationsrelatingtothedesign,construction,operation,orsafetyofhotcells,caves,canyons,orothersimilarremotefacilities.Thisguidedealsonlywithequipmentintendedforuseinhotcells.1.2.2SpecificdesignandoperatingconsiderationsarefoundinotherASTMdocuments.1.2.3Thesystemofunitsemployedinthisguideshallbetheinch-poundunit,alsoknownasU.S.CustomaryUnits.TheseunitsarecommonlyusedintheUnitedStatesofAmericaanddefinedbytheNationalInstituteofStandardsandTechnology,includingcertainotherunitsacceptedforusewiththeseterms.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
